Christian (CJ) Hand

Director of Care Integration & Clinical Governance (D-CICG)

Christian J. (“CJ”) Hand is a seasoned healthcare leader with more than 30 years of experience in nursing leadership, case management, and program development. After earning a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Executive Leadership, he built a career across diverse care settings and healthcare systems, including major hospitals and community-based integrated care teams in California, Minnesota, and Oregon. He has also maintained certification in Case Management for more than a decade. 

Before joining Healthcare Solutions as Director of Care Integration and Clinical Governance, CJ spent six years with Oregon Health & Science University’s Health Services, Care Integration & Coordination Programme. In his current role, he leads a dedicated team of Registered General Nurses and Community Caregivers, helping to strengthen and expand the company’s innovative care programmes. Alongside overseeing day-to-day operations, he is responsible for clinical oversight, staff education, workflow development, and leadership collaboration that supports continuous programme improvement. 

CJ is known for seeing how healthcare systems can work better for the people they serve. He brings a patient-focused, compassionate, and thoughtful approach to his work, meeting individuals where they are in life and striving to ensure that every healthcare interaction reflects both quality and empathy. 

Outside of work, CJ enjoys gardening, coaching functional fitness alongside his wife, Nevi, and spending quiet time at home with their cats.
